Eddie Vedder - One Step Back

So my dad found a CD that is neither an Epic nor a Monkeywrench release. It has a photo of Eddie with his backwards White Sox hat on. He surprised me with it late last week.

The CD includes two live sets of songs performed by Eddie with a band that is not Pearl Jam. Coolest thing, it has two live versions of Betterman. It's remarkable how much the song sounds like the version the band plays today. Blows my mind that a kid wrote that song. I know he wasn't just any kid, but hopefully you understand my point.

The quality is AWFUL. It sounds like someone was near the stage with a tape deck. But nonetheless a real treat to hear.

Anyone know anything about this? Like when it was recorded?
