As I've said, I'm not trying to rip anyone off. I have something I'd like to sell and I've done some research about what it might be worth, and I've posted a price. I'd rather sell to someone here than on eBay. As far as I can tell then, you posting that "anyone who pays that [for a cd] is nuts" really only fucks me over.

i hope someone agrees with you that your price is fair, all im saying is your selling your cd in the 10club community for the same price you can buy now on ebay thats all, help someone out that really wants it then.. anyway good luck

Just wondering why you would "rather sell it here than eBay"? It's not like people here are getting any sort of deal out of this if you're basing your price off of eBay's recent auctions.

In my opinion, if anything, you should be asking around $120 if you're comparing the "market value" of recent sales. Sellers fees, listing fees, PayPal fees all add up. By asking $140, you're actually taking advantage of this community and maximizing your profit.

Having said all that, I have a Vault #1 CD and if anyone wants it for $120 shipped, I'll find it, ship it, and donate all $120 to Elwayvedder's charity efforts. PM if interested.

What you've said it "don't sell your item for a price I don't like."

This isn't a situation where I've purposely bought something at say, Wrigley, with the intention of doubling the price and making money. This is a CD I received with tickets I purchased and have found out that after two years, it's worth something.

I'm not trying to be underhanded here and yet you're implying that I am.

So what should the CD be priced at? Given than they were never sold, what's a fair price? Posters are routinely sold at the "6 month average." You've essentially trashed the thread now, so I guess I should get the full treatment. What's the right price and on what basis did you figure it out? I can tell you how I got to my number. Why is $40 any more fair?
