I know I'm in the minority around these parts, but self-titled is pretty low on the list for me when ranking PJ albums. Having said that, though, MITS is one of my favorite songs off that album. I was lucky enough to hear it in Columbus back in 2010 and I disagree completely with the poster who said it doesn't translate live. Both MITS and Come Back were great, even though Eddie mixed up the lyrics on the latter.
Absolutely love the chorus, I've read somewhere that Ed said there's an incredibly long version of this song 10+min but they decided to cut it down for the album, I would love to hear that cut, maybe in 10 years with an avocado reissue!
Love the song, and am hoping to hear it on one the two nights in Worcester

Put me firmly in the "Love It" camp too. I've only managed to catch it live once (at The Astoria, the first time it was played) - it's definitely a hidden gem that they need to break out more often

Neither love nor hate. I guess that puts me in the Indifferent category haha.
The ending of the song (the "calling out, calling out" part) reminds me of the song Patriot, which Pearl Jam and Eddie have played on occasion, it reminds me of the "And the river shall open for the righteous" part.
I am just a dreamer, but you are just a dream... If I knew where it was I would take you there.

Better song on the album than live.
Good chorus, hard to get into.
