Experience with seats behind stage or side?

Got shut out of Brooklyn tix and have to revert to stubhub. Looking at tix in sec 31 right behind the stage and tix in in second 104 and 105.. I have never sat in either type of seat. Anyone have any thoughts or opinions to help me pull the trigger?

    I was shut out of tix from MSG 2 back in 2010. I was able to later get tix right behind the stage in row 6... Due to how the sectioned off that area, row 6 ended up being the second row occupied. It was a great insight into how a concert is run. From backstage you get to see all the stagehands doing their thing, hiding behind a stack of amps or right behind Matt's drumkit. Sitting behind the stage doesn't affect the sound at all. And while it's not important to me for Ed to turn around an play Last Kiss, it ended being great seats to be able to catch Matt's drumsticks when he threw them into the crowd after the show.

    Behind the stage gets you into the building, doesn't affect the sound at all, and puts you in position for potential souviners !

    I'd do it all over again.
