but apparently (according to the Life Wasted wiki page) it was already turned in to Life Wasted.
    pfffffffft.

the guitar "solo" work at the end of that improv is some of my favorite.
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

I don't know if it was really an improv per say, but 100% Open Road from 95 or 96, I forget. Fucking incredible. Reminded me of a trippy slow Soundgarden song from the Down On The Upside era. Probably would be one of my favorite PJ songs if made into a studio track.

This is the song I always wondered where it was from! I had started a thread a while back asking about the improv called "Wide" and where it was from, and no one answered. Now I know!

    Thank you, my thread!

Does its ok count as improv? If it does, that's my pick.

You may argue it's not an improv as it sounds a bit more developed, but FALLING DOWN from Salt Lake City (I believe?) 95 would be the one for me and for me it's the crown jewel song that PJ has never released, but hopefully one day will!!
    My PJ shows:
    London 28/10/96, Las Vegas 11/7/98, London 29/5/00, Nurnburg 11/6/00, Prague 14/6/00, Salzburg 18/6/00, Verona 20/6/00, Milan 22/6/00, Zurich 23/6/00, New York 8-9/7/03, Boston 11/7/03, Reading Festival 27/8/06, Shepards Bush 11/8/09, Berlin 15/8/09, Manchester 17/8/09, London 18/8/09, Dublin 22/6/10, Belfast 23/6/10, London (HRC) 25/6/10, Alpine Valley (PJ20) 3-4/9/11, Manchester 20-21/6/12, Leeds 8/7/14, Milton Keynes 11/7/14 To be continued....

This is my vote too even though it showed up on the Mad Season reissue. The way Ed went with the lyrics and vocals on the improv was really cool.

On another note, do you guys think these are totally improvised on the spot. Most that I've heard seem pretty structured. Do they usually show up in the written setlists?
