And to answer why it would affect the other shows? Again I feel people would decide against those shows with two Seattle shows (more than now with only one show)

I do see what you mean about it shouldn't matter.

And Boston getting a second show, when the first was not sold out, and being billed as "due to high demand" makes no sense. Seattle 1 sold out almost instantly where Boston 1 did not.

Keeping faith and staying positive on this end :)

I don't see it as bitching, I still think it will happen too. :D

Just not sure there is a reason to delay it anymore, other than to do it after the holiday now once peoples summer vacations are over.

Don't you guys realize that it's very likely they are waiting to sell more tickets to other locations.

Would you decide on a Spokane show if there were two Seattle shows? Doubtful.

So they sell more tickets to Vancouver, Portland, Spokane, and then add the second show. More tickets sales for them.

It's either going to happen, or not. No need to get letdown over and over.

Just have some patience and keep the faith! It only makes sense for pj to add a second show, end of tour, in their hometown. They probably know this even more than we do.
Last week I looked at the TM seating map for Vancouver and it looks like they actually cancelled all the seating behind the stage. If true, Vancouver is basically sold out except for a few singles maybe ... Does anyone know anything about this? If that's what happened, what would they do for those people who did hold tix behind the stage?? Those seats weren't really selling, but there were still a lot that had. Or maybe the seating map was just acting up when I looked??

The seating map is weird sometimes on ticketmaster. It will show no seats behind the stage as being sold, but when you switched to have them choose your seats for you, it would show the rear stage area available and select seats behind the stage. At least it did that for Pittsburgh and Worcester when I looked before.
True, their seating map is often messed up. For a long time there, they weren't even showing the GA pit. But I find it hard to believe that every single seat directly behind the stage is sold out, even in the nosebleeds, and that's why those sections have no seats available at all, while there are still some singles in so many of the other sections in the arena..... But maybe...

i still think ya'll may be getting a warm up show.
the PJ - DEEP letter contest for this month seems like a bit of a taunt.
They want to fly you out to seattle, but NOT see pearl jam? Like the week before the tour starts, and there is a line in the entry about "and other shows and sights around town" or some hoo hah?
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

Would be stoked if there was a second December Seattle date... but...

I'd be very tempted to burn some cash / travel miless to see a "warm up" show in October some time.

Think a warm up show would be a last minute deal? 10C draw again?

Already going to the west coast in the fall for 5 shows.

Come on now people, keep the faith because it's going to happen. If LA, Philly, Brooklyn all got two shows, and Worcester was later announced to get a second show - Seattle should no doubt get a second show. No reason why it shouldn't.

    Keep the faith alive!

Or it could be a tour of the 10c, which would also be cool. Any warm up show I would guess would be in a small club.

Everyone should take a deep breath, step away from their computer, go outside, and do something fun

If there is a 2nd show it won't be announced and tickets won't be put on sale till after Labor Day weekend

    so go outside!!

I agree. If it comes, it comes. If it will happen while we are still on location, we will try to get tickets. If it doesn't happen we will have a great time regardless. Happy weekend, you all

And my ticket buddy is coming from France! :) I am just a little bit surprised that more people aren't making the short trip up considering how many are going to be in Seattle (where I can't go without a second show!). But of course I understand the $$$ part Leeze! :)

Yeah, I get ya & I get that it's like - you're coming to Seattle & you're not going to make the short jump up to Vancouver, but yeah, the straw that'd break the back of their trip perhaps financially & all especially. Can't believe I'm going to Canada! :D Which reminds me, I'm pretty sure I check the visa situation, ie if I have to get one, but better double check......

    Oh & meanwhile, Seattle2 PLEASE!

I should have a word with our stupid government that allows everything to be so expensive here even though our dollars are usually fairly close to par these days.
Tip: If you take the train from Seattle to Vancouver you get to skip the border lineups I think (and the traffic!) - they do customs before you board the train apparently. :)

you're basing that on the assumption the tracks the Amtrak Cascades uses won't be closed due to mud slides...they happen a lot during winter. http://www.transportationissuesdaily.co ... in-winter/

it's fun and a really pretty trip when the weather's nice...I've done it a few times.

altho to take the train from nov thru march is insane :nono:
