Ticketmaster Ticket Limit?

Well, my wife and I are going to Worcester night one, had to get tickets on StubHub (ouch). I put in for GA/Res for night two and didn't get those.. oh, well.. at least now we have the opportunity to buy as a group and sit with some close friends who really wanted to come with us.

So my question, how many tickets can you buy in one purchase on TM? I don't know if it's 8 but that'd be awesome. We have 5 confirmed that want to go but could easily come up with 3 more. We plan on getting the max and filling the spots. Thanks, and see you in Woostah!

4 max per show. That's total, not just in one purchase. So you can't put through multiple orders of 4 tickets. One of the reasons for the delay was to weed these out. Although, I don't know if anyone has tested this, maybe you can get away with it.

  • I don't know the actual rules, but I bet if you had two separate accounts on TM and used two different credit cards, you could pull off 2 orders of 4 tickets.

Also, I'm positive that two people (say a husband and wife ;) ) could each have an account and use their own credit cards to each buy a set of 4. All 8 wouldn't be together but at least 4 and 4 would.

Pulling up 4 good seats is much easier said than done tho. And having it happen twice is even less possible, but still doable.

    Good luck on the sale.

good luck and hey.. StubHub isnt the only solution....
i really dont get why people think if they dont score tix, means only have to go to scalpers..

check the forum and there are like 10 pages at facebook and fans help each other with spares, give their extras face value....
no need to go to scalpers site

Sooooo... I have 7 tickets total to the Worcester show that were bought about 2 hours apart. 3 in sec 311 and 4 directly behind the stage. Now I'm nervous. Anyone else have or had this problem?

I am still curious about this... I know through TM in some venues you can buy up to 8 tickets: VA, OK and some others. I noticed some scalpers selling sets of 8 seats all together at the DCU in Worcester so I don't know.

I bought 4 tickets to a concert and then a few months later, better seats were available and I purchased 4 of those. Then I realized the ticket limit and started to panic. I called Ticketmaster and talked to them and they were totally cool about it. Told me not to worry about it. And I ended up with all 8.

I think there is a good chance 3 of your tickets got canceled. Have you checked? I know someone who had Pitt tickets cancelled because they ordered over the limit.....For some reason, the ticket limit in New York was 8.

And the husband and wife thing? If you live in separate households, that should work. When TM decides to verify ticket limits, they check email address, CC number and physical address. Generally the ticket limit will say per household and not per person.
