GA vs RES...which is better?

    It's a lot of fun. If you're worried about the crowd, there's usually plenty of room the further away you go from the stage but still really good views. But if you don't mind touching and rubbing people against a bunch of strangers (be honest), then GA can be hot and crowded and a helluva good time.

    im 6-1 so height isnt an issue....ill probably be slightly frowned upon! my only reservation to GA....is drinking too much pre-show then having to piss midshow & then im f*cked! LOL

    I'm having reservations about GA. I'm 6'4'' and I don't want to piss off my fellow 10 clubbers!

    One of the nice things about the GA pit is if you have a tall person stuck in front of you, you can maneuver a bit to get a better view. in reserved, if someone is blocking your view, you're kind of SOL.

    So if you're a tall person, I wouldn't worry too much about blocking people's views.

    Just don't jump the entire time, hold up a huge banner throughout the whole show, keep someone on your shoulders for extended periods, or wear an obnoxiously large hat. That $hit is annoying as hell.

    only applies if you're aiming for the first few rows. you can go and come back without problems if you're behind those.

    as for what is better...a rock show should be GA.

    i get a rash too easily with these + i pee way too much to wear that...not discreet enough when loaded with 7 lbs of urine!

    so do i push for getting into WUSTAH early & try & get first couple rows and miss out on all the pre-show festivites?

    I've always liked GA more. If you want to be in the front, you have to work for it.

    That's always the decision. Depends on what's important to you. I'm going to try and do a bit of both since I'm going to multiple shows. Go early for a few to get up close, but then for a few not stress out about going early and hang out and have fun.
