I can't seem to find it going thru their early years, its such a great place to see a concert, would be awesome if they did a 3-4 night run at this classic concert venue

Wow...just talking about this today with my friend. She couldn't remember if she had been there for string cheese tour at one point and I said I wonder if PJ had ever played there since it's a historic GD venue....weird!
I'll ride the wave where it takes me...

I'm pretty sure they have not played at The Fillmore, they have played at The Warfield & Slims a couple of times in the the early days. I would love to see them play a run at The Fillmore.

I'm guessing the venue is too small, but it would
really be a great idea for a ten club show or two.
I would also like to see them play at the Greek Theater in Berkeley or the Santa Cruz Civic (i can dream) but
Oakland will do. It seems like they are making a concerted effort
to play a few markets that are often skipped by big touring acts (i.e. Baltimore)
But i would love to see a repeat of the three night run at the Bill
    Graham Civic in SF!

Having been to the Filmore several times as well as the Berkeley Greek Theater, I can easily imagine PJ at one of these venues. In fact, those would be remarkably cool places to see PJ! San Francisco's Civic Auditorium would be great too (U2, Talking Heads, The Clash, Black Uhuru, and The Alarm were all phenomenal shows there).

Back in the day ... they played The Warfield ... but they never payed the Filmore. Which is a travesty in and of itself. They could do what Metallica did a few years ago. A 4 or 5 night stand in at that historc, yet small, venue.

I think the Pumpkins did the same at the Filmore a few years back.

Hell no they haven't and no one's been screaming louder for this to happen for decades now than me! No better room to play on the planet. A month long residency ala Tom Petty in '97 will do just fine, thank you.

Is this where that Neil Young & Crazy Horse recording took place? Live at Fillmore East.

    Awsome show btw.

When the Fillmore reopened in 93 or 94 was the best shot for the band to play there. In fact I slept over night out front of Local ticketmaster outlet to get tickets to the opening night show only because it was rumored that PJ would be playing. No PJ but a great show none the less. Always a dream of mine to have them play the Fillmore in SF.

I've been to a few of those December Black Crowes runs ... just spectacular.

Now that's a damn cool idea! It's a little smaller than Wrigley (kidding) but I think
the band would also appreciate the history of the venue.

I was *really* hoping The Fillmore would get the Vic/pre Lolla treatment for Outside Lands in 2009 ...

    sad face ... me. :(

I went to 3 of the 4 Metallica shows at the Fillmore back in 2011. It was epic. Would love to see Pearl Jam do something similar.

as others have said, they have played the Warfiel. In the Warfield lobby there is a picture of EV next to a picture of The Ramones. very cool. there is also the poster from the show hanging on the wall. love that poster and that venue!
