Why did the whole band wear black at Wrigley?

I've only seen a band do this one time before at it was DMB night #2 at Fenway Park in 2006.
(The first night they wore whatever they wanted)
I figured there must be a "stadium / ball park" reason yes?

Do they show up better on the video screens?

    Metallica always wears all black. Pink Floyd wore all black when they performed The Wall shows, presumably to stand out against the white wall behind them.
