Ticket corruption???

Today, July 27th, 2013, at 10am SHARP, my jamily had 2 cell phones, a land line, and access to two computers, all trying to purchase GA tickets to the Charlotte, NC, concert at the same time. At 10:01am, we ALL got the same reply...NO GA TICKETS AVAILABLE. How is this possible!!!??? DID ANYONE GET GA TICKETS THIS MORNING, AND IF SO, HOW???!!! Please reply as I am very upset as to how they "sold-out" before 10:01am. Thanks!!!

    10C stated that all GA tickets were sold through the 10C to fan club members and that none were available for the public sale.

    I hope you are able to find other tickets still!

    I have been buying concert tickets since I was 13 years old, and am now 39. I have been a 10C MEMBER SINCE 1991!!! I am only asking for replies to my stated question in my original post...I won the 10C lottery and got reserved seats for Charlotte, NC, but was trying to get GA tickets thru Ticketmaster as an upgrade, as the show falls on my 40th birthday...Again, if you got GA tix, please let me know how?

    ok, then you should know the drill
    what happens at 10:01 am is not necessarily the final outcome
    but anyway
    as others have said GA are supposed to be 10c only
    so perhaps there was a screw up with having them as an option
    I think the 10c may say something about this issue, but probably not. I hope I am wrong.

    You can only get GA tickets in the 10c lottery. Period.

    Look to see if anyone wants to trade; that's your only option at this point.

    They were only available through 10club lottery, you would not have been able to secure them today thru Ticketmaster per the tour announcement:
    GA (General Admission Standing) Tickets:
    Pearl Jam has decided to include a GA pit in front of the stage at each venue taking up 1/3 - 1/2 of the floor. Ten Club has acquired the entire GA pit for fan club members only; therefore there will not be a need for early entry. Please know there are less GA pit tickets available in the drawing then there are reserved seated tickets. If you are not interested in standing for the entirety of the show, do not enter the drawing for GA tickets.

    yeah but if they were listed as an option to buy, its easy to see why someone might expect to have a shot

    oh and yes the concert ticket business is corrupt

    THANKS TO ALL WHO REPLIED! I have my answer...but I will say that I really did not see where the 10C said that ALL GA tix would be sold thru the lottery ONLY...I am still just a little confused because Ticketmaster WAS SELLING GA TICKETS!!! But NONE were available for purchase at 10:01am. Just sayin'...

    For the average rube that went online and saw that as an option sure, but for a 10C member who already scored tickets through the lottery not to understand that the GA weren't a "real" option....... :shock: :fp: :nono:

    Did you read the email they sent you OR the tour page about tickets before you entered the lottery?

    Well, now you know.

    It appears that the option was there, but the quantity was set at "zero" from the get-go.
