    I've been to a couple of shows with Long Road opening. Never had Oceans.

    Had both luckily.If I'm on the beach or in a waterfront area Oceans,If its been a while and it's a one off kinda thing I say Long Road. I think Gonna see my friend and Hail,Hail also make good ones IMO.

    As a song I like long road better but I have a feeling oceans is really special to open a show.

    Ive seen 11 openers in 11 shows (see my sig :lol:), but I have yet to see either of these. I think Oceans is better from the bootlegs and I heard Eddie do Long Road solo, so I would rather hear Oceans.

    I've seen Long Road twice (Indy 2003 and Cincinnati 2006) and Oceans once (Columbus 2010). Oceans comes in as the second best opener I have seen...after Hard to Imagine (Bonnaroo 2008).

    I liked Long Road more than Oceans (I've gotten both).

    Honestly, I prefer Release as an opener, it gets the crowd going. Release into Go.....BOOM!!!!!!!
    40+ shows, it is never enough!
  • When I heard Long Road open a show it broke my heart. Oceans would probably make me crap my pants.

    That said, any opener is a good opener.

    I've gotten long road 5 times. It's one of my favorite all time songs and an unreal opener.
    Unfortunately, I've never heard them play oceans. Fingers crossed for 2013
