    Pearl Jam has had tons of success in the two decades since it came out, but every time they play the opening notes of "Black" or "Alive," the arena goes absolutely insane. It left a really, really big impression. They will never make another record this big. No rock band ever will.

    SHOW COUNT: (164) 1990's=3, 2000's=53, 2010/20's=108, US=118, CAN=15, Europe=20 ,New Zealand=4, Australia=5
    Mexico=1, Colombia=1

    Funny that you mention it, because that's my favorite part of the article as well. lol. That one sentence was all they needed to push it over the cliff. Essentially, they turned it to 11.

    Saying that Ten is their best album is not a slight, and I'm glad the article picked up on that. I know there's tons of fan club cred in saying that their best album is No Code or Binaural, but Ten, from start to finish, is really everything that makes this band great.

    This.

    I'll admit I've heard all the Ten songs so much that I don't call it my favorite anymore, but the thing you mentioned about the cred is so true. It's silly too when you step back and think about it... Ten is arguably one of (I said one of, I didn't say THE) greatest rock and roll albums of all time and is certainly a contender for best debut album.... And you have Pearl Jam fans that trash it. :roll:
