At least two Spaniards will be in Spokane! This will be the only GA for us. We are still thinking about driving from Portland to Spokane after the show, or just relax in Portland and very early in the morning drive to Spokane.
Should we ask for snow chains to our rental car service? How far is Portland from Spokane, 5 hours by car?
The Loganator and I shall be in a seat somewhere... So what does someone do for a day in Spokane?

The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Nice hotel. Stayed there with my wife when we went to see Ben Folds for her 30th birthday a couple years back. I'm looking for cheaper lodging though for this trip since I'm going with a buddy.

Coming from Portland, Booked at the Hilton close to the arena. GA for me for the first time besides the Switzerland show I went to a few years back. Probably flying from Portland to Spokane.
I am very fortunate to be attending Spokane show in reserved seats, thanks to a very generous, understanding and all out cool 10c member! I will not name this person, I hope he knows who he is and how grateful I am for his help! Anyway, I will be there with all you other great 10c people! I can't wait! Thanks to .........PJxxxxxx!

Cannot believe PJ have only played Spokane ONCE - June 17, 1993 at the Met. Too bad that set list online is incomplete...was anyone there? Would be great to see/hear what songs they played then!
Anyone actually from Spokane that would recommend a place for a Wishlist pre-party? I am investigating some options.
I will not lose my Faith, it's an Inside job today....

I missed that show. It was a "surprise" show. I believe it was announced the day before and it was a secret who was playing until close to showtime. It was the summer after graduation so there was a group of us that just stayed out at a friends lake place all summer. The show had come and gone before we even knew about it...total bummer.
The 2 bars closest to the arena (The Tailgater and The Viking) are guaranteed to be packed with locals before the show. The Downtown bars are across the park from the arena. There are plenty to choose from within a 15 min. walk. I can send you some ideas when I get home from work. I don't want to commit to organizing anything at this point because my wife wants to have a party at our place. I'm trying to talk her out of it.
I'm in for Spokane. I'll be driving from Portland with hopefully some other 10c peeps.
CARAVAN!
...at least if the passes are bad, we can help each other out!

Heck yeah! I'm from Texas so if snow happens, I'll be pretty much worthless in it, so I need some local expertise haha. I know JMo, SuMay, and most likely MFC2006 will be coming to Spokane as well.

I wasnt there, but did get the original setlist from it some years back from a gal that was there...I think it is posted over at twofeetthick.com ...not sure it is complete or not, havent looked at it in many years.
I am sure there are a few others that would be able to suggest a place for wishlist...I dont go out much anymore....lol
My friend was going to see Eddie last night. Since he was in Vegas, I gave him 5 Grand to gamble with. I told him I wanted it all to go on Black. Bastard! PhillyCrownOfThorns-11-2-12

Cool...thanks for the reply! I do not know if I can commit to being the organizer, since I live 5 hours away. It looks like the arena has two bars/restaurants attached, too...an Irish Pub and another. I saw the Viking, and it seemed pretty close, which would be great. If someone wants to be the Chief Organizer, I promise to be a big help on the day before and day of, and as much as I can do from a distance in advance.

He won't make it, as Chicago was his only trip this year besides our local shows in Dallas/OKC. He's hilarious though and I wish he would come!

Going to be a lovely 5 minute drive down to the Arena for what is quite easily going to be the best show the Arena has ever put on.. can't wait!
