GA PIT NOT TEN CLUB EXCLUSIVE?

Seems like we were lied to about the exclusivity of the pit tickets. Im still thrilled about getting them for two shows, but what's with the false claims? looks like, from the shows I've checked, that ga will be offered to the general public. ga pit tickets for buffalo are on stubhub already for around 1,000 bucks. and they have e tickets and tickets by mail. how is this possible if the only pit tickets are ten club will call only? This is kind of fishy.

What makes you think there aren't any scalpers in ten club? Since they haven't even had the ticketmaster sale yet I'm guessing they're basing these on what they'll be able to get later.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

The pit is a 10club only exclusive

You and anyone else is free to post anything they want on stubhub or that other place at any price they want.
even if they do not have them in hand or know they will never have them in hand.

These are tickets posted by scalpers who have either won the lottery or expect to pick up some tickets the night of the show

There will not be any sold to the general public

and NO no one has any actual tickets in hand at this time

    pass it on

I think one answer is what ComeToTX said.......when word of the tour came around, some scalers or regular Joes probably signed up for a multiple accounts and were able to get GA seats.

    OR

The 10C couldn't sell out the whole floor and had to release seats back to the venue/TM/whoever, and those will be sold this weekend.

This isn't just stubhub, comcasttix for the philly shows already has ga listed for a buying option. Like i said, seems like the pit is going to be offered to the general public. at least for some of the shows.
  • the band can put anyone they want in the PIT... You think Judd Apatow is a 10C member?

id be shocked if pj couldn't sell out the pit, considering many got shut out.

They have to list as an option because they have to have it in the program in order to print the tickets before the shows.

Just because it is on comcasttix or on TM as an option does not mean the tickets will be there when the shows go on sale

how can you be so sure? stubhub is still a legitimate site. id be surprised if e tickets could be sold if the seller doesn't actually have e tickets. then again, its also possible that you are correct i suppose.

Okay guys, was just curious if anyone was in the know about this. guess we're all clueless about this besides what we've been told. ill reserve judgement until the official sale, but ill be slightly disappointed if the pit ends up being non exclusive. we'll see what happens.

True. Maybe like Bentley said, it's just a dummy option and will come up as sold out once the event goes on sale.
  • season ticket holders is my guess. There are always seats on stubhub before the sale that are in "10 club" territory and have actual seats asigned long before the public sale. My guess is some of them have GA seats this time. Why not? I'm not sure how this works but insiders get looks at tickets to concerts that they always pretty much sell regardless of the artist playing.

I put tickets to a Mets game I couldn't make on stub hub that were e-tickets without linking them. Its 100% possible.

    (from: http://pearljam.com/tenclub/events)

Pearl Jam has decided to include a GA pit in front of the stage at each venue taking up 1/3 - 1/2 of the floor. Ten Club has acquired the entire GA pit for fan club members only; therefore there will not be a need for early entry. Please know there are less GA pit tickets available in the drawing then there are reserved seated tickets. If you are not interested in standing for the entirety of the show, do not enter the drawing for GA tickets.

If you click on the Stubhub seats you will see they will not be delivered to you until right before the show - i.e. the seller doesn't have them in hand but is promising to get them.
