I think that is a FANTASTIC idea! They were going to play them anyways, right?
The scratched songs... should be all "Live" recordings... none of them performed on a stage... all in studio... or backstage at shows... all extended jams (equal the length of the rain delay)... all performed to a camera, as if you were sitting there in front of them...
That would make for some GREAT bonus footage ... FOR A "WRIGLEY 2013" DVD!
Of course, in hindsight, what they did was great enough... as far as the shirts go... a bit much maybe, I would agree.

I'm one who has defended the band and the club on almost every single issue.
That being said, the idea of selling setlist shirts is not something that feels right to me. Maybe if they print them up during the show after having just gotten a list where the ink is still drying, but clearly in this case it meant that the setlist was essentially complete days in advance.
I guess I just like the thought of the list changing right up to and during the show.
(and I know there are songs on the shirt that weren't played and others that aren't there that were, but I'm still not a big fan of the idea). The only people we should try to get even with...

I avoided ebay because I didn't want to be sickened by enterprising merchandise flippers prospering.AskPearlJam: PearlJama101-guest says: Who's idea was it for Eddie to play banjo on "Soon Forget"?
Eddie: I don't know whose idea it was but it was turned down.0 -

Was one of the stragglers to leave wrigley around 3am and they still had a ton of these shirts so I wouldn't be surprised to see them pop up in the merch section sooner or later. This was at the trailer outside by the Home plate will call.
I picked up an extra one in case I wanted to trade for a poster later since I had no luck buying 1 of the 4 posters that were sold out everywhere I was.Raleigh, NC 8-18-92
