Oh, btw, phish played three songs and called it a night, PJ rocked til 2am, best fucking band in the world.

    Re-enrty was allowed. People really took advantage of that during the rain delay.

    That said, the people in my row.....seats 1 & 2 never showed. Then my girlfriend and I. Then 6 empty seats after the delay. 1 guy was kicked out for pissing on the ground though.

    My suater's first show!! And she has seen the power of Pearl Jam!! When the rain stopped and we went back in, and everyone was still there, she was astounded!! Nothing new to me, but it's always cool to see first time reactions to this band and their fans live!! And they were fucking awesome!! Anyone else notice that almost all the requests posted on here got played??

    My two neighbors jumped ship after rain delay. Can't say I missed them, those field seats are real cozy. Was shocked the roof tops across street even filled up. Great night of music after the delay.

    But most people didn't leave. I was telling my husband this morning about what happened at the Wrigley show (we had a big storm in upstate NY too, and were without power for a while, and no internet until now, so I couldn't watch the earthcam), and he was asking if people left, and I ended up saying, 'no you don't understand, Pearl Jam is like a religion - you don't just leave for something like that', and I realized it was true. If you have to leave for a babysitter or health issue, that's one thing, but to bail otherwise, most of us just wouldn't do it. Sorry I couldn't make it, but am enjoying all the discussion.

    I was sitting right by the Cubs dugout. A lot of people with far back seats were sneaking on to the field near my area. So there being empty spots in some areas doesn't necessarily mean those people weren't there. They probably snuck on to the field or something.

    Maybe not one person left during the rain delay, which is doubtful(and who can blame them if they're not hardcore fans or other extenuating circumstances), but they were definitely filing out a few songs after the return.


    As for Phish playing 3 songs...those songs were probably as long as PJ's entire set :p. I think they were closer to being finished when the rain hit and the storm hit harder there.

    Looked like tons of people were leaving during the show on the webcam. Probably not a large percentage of overall attendees though..I saw a pic of the stadium someone tweeted at 1 am and it looked pretty full to me.
