If you are buying up merch in hopes of trading it for tickets, you are just as bad as a flipper. Flipping for money, or flipping for tickets, youre still flipping.....

I disagree. If the items add up to the ticket price, you now have an interesting deal that is fair for both parties.

Its certainly not fair to the guy who has tickets and stood in line behind the guy who bought the last of the merch, who only bought it in hopes of trading it.....

No offense but life isn't fair.

I don't condone scalping or flipping but making this post doesn't help either.

    You have valid point.

Not in this case with the pre-sale

All this is making me think about not caring about merch at all. Its not worth the stress of waiting in lines shoving toward rhe front, worrying about resellers, wasting time, money, etc. I might just retire from any and all merch

I am thinking the exact same thing. It's all fairly useless half the time. I like posters a lot, but it's always a battle. Had a friend help out already so that's good. But it is a mess

Yes it is. That person's goal is to be inside the venue and to get merch. The same goals as you. You had better luck getting tix, they had better luck getting merch. I would take tix over merch anyday.

With that being said, good luck finding what you were looking for (for a reasonable price- hopefully face)

Would you feel the same way if I scored 15 pairs of tix to a show, you were next in line and got none? To make it worse, I then traded my tickets for equal amount of polished stones? I collect rocks as well. Fair?

This is nonsense. If I were you, I'd be happy I was going to the show and would continue looking for a poster. To each his own though. I think its fair.

I just went and picked up my tickets about an hour ago. The merch lines are LAUGHABLE. I remember being as obsessed with PJ merch as anyone, but standing in line in 100 degree heat is fuckin batshit crazy. Glad I grew out of that 8-)

    Flippers everywhere, unfortunately.

Should be one poster (of each print) per person, well. I saw so many people with 8 effin poster tubes
