I'm assuming this is the same for a concert as it is for a baseball game.
This is from the official website:

Prohibited Items at Wrigley Field:

Alcohol
Bags (exceeding 16" x 16" x 8")
Brooms
Cans and Glass Containers
Hard-Sided Coolers
Illegal Drugs
Inflatables (such as beach balls)
Laser Pointers
Nets
Noise Makers
Non-Factory Sealed Plastic Containers (Permitted if empty)
Thermoses
Weapons

All bags are subject to inspection. Bags exceeding restrictions above may be claim checked at the gate or at Fan Services. To ensure fan safety, the Club reserves the right to refuse admittance of any item deemed hazardous or suspicious, including any item capable of being used as a projectile.

So small soft sided coolers are allowed with plastic sealed bottles of non alcoholic beverages. Water, Juice, Coca-Cola etc... Snacks etc. are allowed as well. Don't know if this has been covered, but just wanted to share.

    Just received this email back from the CUBS.

    Coolers, food and drink will not be allowed in for the concert. Small backpacks will be allows, as well as cameras.

    Brooms? I don't think the Cubs have swept anyone all season? :o ??

    I emailed the Cubs about cameras, specifically SLR types. They said that's up to the promoter, not the Cubs. So baseball policies may not necessarily apply to concerts.

    EDIT - Oh never mind, PJ's camera policy is on their website under Ten Club Tickets:

    CAMERA POLICY FOR CONCERT ATTENDEES
    * Small, handheld cameras welcome.
    * No flash in the first 20 rows.
    * No detachable lenses.
    * No professional still or recording cameras.
    * No sticks.
    * No video cameras.

    Well, that sucks. I was counting on taking some water in. So now I have to stand (in GA) for several hours with no water, or stop and buy water before I get to the field, or hope that the GA crowd will allow me to get a spot and then go get water.

    I realized that you already put the dimensions of the backpack on here. But does anybody think that a standard school backpack would be ok? even if it's like an inch or two bigger?

    Um, there's nothing stopping you from having water with you while you're in line. Considering the forecast, it's probably a good idea.

    And, the way it's written, factory-sealed plastic containers ARE permitted.

    16x16x8 is about that size. You should be good. I'm bringing mine.

    I'm pretty sure that this will be ignored by approximately 50% of the attendees... no need to worry. ;)
    Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

    Thanks to whomever posted the phone number. I'm glad I called!

    Here's the scoop: LiveNation prohibits ALL food and drink.

    I was planning on bringing water, but so much for that.

    Backpacks: Wrigley's policy still applies.

    Bring water. best-case scenario, they let you in with it. Worst-case: they take it away.

    I'm thinking that on a day like today, they will relax the no-water policy.

    The no broom policy suggests that in the past, someone did actually try to get into the venue with a broom.

    Brooms are symbolic of a 3 game sweep in baseball so it's not surprising they have this policy.
