Draft system instead of a lottery?

To appease everyone who believes their seniority should give them a better chance at tickets a draft system could be instituted instead of a lottery.

Everyone makes their selections in order of priority. Lowest member# number gets first pick and then you work your way through all the members until everyone gets a shot. When it is your turn if your first choice already filled you move down to your second choice or third choice and so on. If all your shows are already filled then sorry. Once all the members have gone through round 1, you move onto round 2 for your shot at a second show.

There also needs to be the ability to limit the number of shows that you want to attend but still be able to enter multiple options without worrying about getting tickets to multiple shows you cannot afford. (I can attend X amount of shows) once that is filled you get kicked out of the draft.

This way everyone gets a shot at a first show before anyone gets a shot at a second and all the seniority people should be happy.

Of course if you have low seniority (high number) and you could only possibly attend a Brooklyn show then you are probably screwed. Though you will have 4 shots at it potentially when your number comes up without having to guess what would fill up fastest. Brooklyn 1-GA, Brooklyn 2-GA, Brooklyn 1-Res, Brooklyn 2-Res.

Any thoughts?

Sounds too time consuming and it over-caters to the senior members. Newer members need a reason to join the fanclub too.

It would be super-fun, anyway. Although having participated in a few fantasy drafts, I can tell you this would take about 1,000 years. :D

You would still make all your selections ahead of time and the computer can do all the work.
