Ok ....finally looking to join the smartphone nation, but which one is the best?

    HA, just got an LG Lucid 2 through Verizon...still have to get my son to help me constantly. I really miss the old days of flip phones with REAL buttons. Mine wants to type any other word but what I want it to! :? But, my son seems to be a wiz at it all, of course.

    I love my Samsung Galaxy S2. I did heaps of research into it before I bought it(March last year'ish) & it seemed the way to go then. I know there have been updates since then & I haven't looked into them at all so maybe not too helpful but just wanted to put in a plug for Android & Samsung. :)

    If you wanna go Apple, just wait for September/October for the new issue, probably will be iphone5s.

    That said, I think iphone4 looks much cooler than iphone5.

    but if i was buying today...it'd be the Samsung S4...it has slightly better numbers than htc one.

    or you can go iphone. i wouldn't, but you could. it's a nice phone for sure.

    I'm biased, have only used iphones, but I like them. They are not laggy. Apps open immediately. The reason I say this is I picked up a tablet from some other company to see what it would do, and it would take like 2 seconds to open apps. I can't say if this happens for non-iphones, but you'd want to check.

    thanks for the replys. I have narrowed down between galaxy siii (or 4) and HTC One. Just looking for best deal,phones, plan etc...

    They are all for the most part equal. An S4 is not better than an iphone and an HTC One is not better than the Sony Xperia Z etc.

    It's just one or two features that may make one phone slightly more appealing to certain people for whatever reasons.

    Nokia (today) showed off it's 1020 with a 41 MegaPixel (Sensor),

    I was ready to get the Sony Xperia (waterproof phone), now I'm gonna pre order the Nokia. (Because of the Camera)

    The 5 has a bigger screen, is a lot lighter, and has a better processor.

    I'd say either the Galaxy S4 or the iPhone 5.


    I have a iPhone 4S...no complaints other than the battery life.
    If you go the Apple route, hold off a couple months if you can. The 5S is likely due. You could get that or the 5...which will drop in price when the new one comes out.

    i love my unlimited data on sprint. one month i pulled 20 gigs fo data thru my phone.

    I have an SIII and like it a lot but the HTC One fits in your hand perfectly. The Samsung is a little wide.

    Based on the Price of the screen, It was (for me) NOT worth fixing.

    So, I dropped and broke the Z3..Picked up the Galaxy S6, . Returned it after a few days and Now (for the past 3 weeks) I've been using the LG V10...Awesome Phone!

    But that new BlackBerry Priv is looking pretty sweet.
