Anyone have suggestions on where to stay in OKC? I have never been there, was wondering if anyone had some insight?

Sorry no hotels at all here. Better stick to Dallas. ;)

That's what I was looking at.. I want something near the venue but I don't know the area.. and most hotels seem to be 2 stars..

Already booked the Sheraton, a block away. There's a Courtyard virtually connected to the venue as well. Seems like plenty of options right there within walking disctance

I booked the Hampton in Bricktown. Less than a mile it looks like.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

I booked the Sheraton. It is right across the street, can't beat that.

Courtyard, Sheraton, Colcord, Skirvin and Renaissance are downtown close to the arena. There's also a Residence Inn and Hampton Inn just east of the arena in Bricktown, the downtown entertainment district. They are also within easy walking distance of the arena and there are plenty of bars/restaurants down there as well.

The Courtyard is literally right next door from the arena. I mean literally. As in, separated by an alley. As in, if the show starts at 9 p.m., you could nap until 8:55 and still be there in time to hear the first notes of Release.

If you want to stay a little further away, but closer to the airport, I've stayed at several nice places on Meridian. My favorite so far is the Cambria Suites.

Also, the Skirvin is haunted. Don't stay there. :)
