The Failure to adapt RWD to the new PJ.com

If I could ask, why was responsive design not considered when restructuring PJ.com? I paid for an app when BS came out so I could view forums etc more easily, only to see it fall by the wayside. If PJ has no interest in updating the app or bringing it to more platforms than iOS RWD would be the perfect ticket.

Whoever builds the PJ site often seems behind in web design trends, but this is a biggie. More and more people are using mobile devices to experience the web, and a developer who does not use these techniques certainly shouldn't be building sites for major names like PJ and SG. Just my two cents.

IF I could make a suggestion, instead of paying more than you should have for this redesign - make the next 10C contest a website redesign contest. I guarantee you will see much more creativity, ingenuity, and application of modern web design trends then we have seen here the past ten years.

Just out of curiosity, if you read this thread could you reply what type of device you're using? Mobile or PC? (Probably will see more using PC since the site doesn't co-operate well with mobile, but would be an interesting experiment.)

Mobile and yes, it's a pain in the ass. But this is what you get when the lead singer of your favorite band still carts around a typewriter in a box.

I mostly use a PC, but my phone would be better to use. WHen I sued my phone I got through the Pearl Jam Stat Tracker. But it is very hard to use it as type is small and it is very difficult to login

iPhone - I use the pjstattracker app. No issues. I can't remember the last time I used our PC.

It could be better, though. :) thanks for the responses so far guys. Because I work at a PC all day that's how I visit here 90 percent of the time, but if I do want to check in on mobile I always cringe. A little CSS update would go a long way.

    Forums work great through PJStatTracker.

I should add - I am aware forums work well with statTracker. A FREE app. Something tells me the redesign of PJ.com was not done for free. I hope in the future they demand more from their programmers and designers.
