Has anybody here ever drank Eddie's wine? Either the Siduri or Oderro? Just wondered. I realize its more specific than that , biut figured true PJ fans would know what I meant.

Siduri Van der Kamp Vineyard Pinot Noir...

    pic_04tnotes.jpg

"Firm and well-structured, with a complex band of wild berry and blackberry, spice and floral notes. Full-bodied, gaining depth, richness and nuance, this ends with a return to the berry medley on the finish. Drink now through 2018. Score - 92. (James Laube, winespectator.com, March 31, 2011)"

We had a bottle at Delmonico's Steakhouse in Vegas, very good with a big steak but not cheap, $125.00 for the bottle. Saved the empty bottle and brought it home, a little Eddie momento.

I think it's at a local store for something like $50 per bottle.

I thought, on the road, he was tasting one of the local wines.

I have a pic of me drinking his wine...but it was Barolo.

He poured me some in a cup in Missoula, don't think it was the Siduri though...but to be honest I was so giddy I really didn't think about it, and I'm a wine guy. I got a wicked cold the following week too, and anyone who was there or heard the boot knows he was sick. I doubt that's why, but I still tell people I caught a cold from EV.

I was asking earlier if his wine was from his vineyard,
Or are you just simply talking about his favorite wine?

Just his favorites of late. Although I would not be surprised if he did have some partnership in a vineyard.
