Does anyone know what, if any, the handicap accessibility situation is at Wrigley for concerts? I ruptured my achilles tendon and had it repaired yesterday, which means I'll be truckin' around Chicago in cast with a knee walker for the show (I don't care what I break, I'm not missing this) I have field/lower bowl tix, so if I happen to get field seats does know how easy it is to get to the field? Thanks for any info, and I'll see everyone there (i'll be the one rockin out with a PJ/10C decorated cast and knee walker!

I would be shocked if Wrigley had not been updated to allow for handicap accessibility. I think you will be OK.

Call the stadium, ask for accessible seating, explain the situation and see if they can relocate you. They have accessible seating, but it depends on how much has already been reserved. Let them know you have a mobility issue and see what they can do.

Call or email ten club. Im pretty sure they mentioned special seating in the ticket lottery email. If you talk to the venue, they might move you, but then your 10C seats will be empty. Not cool with so many people still looking for tickets!

This is from the Cubs website, I suggest contacting them, I used to work in sports and everything is handled through the venue to streamline things. Just keep this in mind, typically ADA relocations are for the person with the disability and 1 companion. So if you are going with 4 people there is a chance they will only be able to relocate the two of you, especially with this being a huge sold out show. Have fun at the concert!

The Chicago Cubs want all fans to have an enjoyable experience while attending a game at historic Wrigley Field. Should you need assistance, have a question, or encounter a problem during your visit, please contact a Cubs Crowd Management employee. Our primary function is to help fans in every way possible.
Wheelchair Assistance: The Cubs are happy to provide assistance to those guests who request wheelchair assistance to their seats. Upon entering the ballpark, please ask an Ambassador for assistance. The guest will then be transported via wheelchair to the closest accessible point and assisted to his/her seat. If help is needed, while in the seating area, please contact an Ambassador who will be able to radio for assistance. Wheelchairs are not available for use during the game except for transport.
Tickets for Disabled Guests: Accessible seating for those with mobility disabilities can be purchased at the Wrigley Field Box office by calling (800) THE-CUBS (843-2827) or by visiting www.cubs.com/ticketing. Seating areas, pending availability, include the Field Box behind home plate, the Upper Deck Box behind home plate, the Terrace Reserved on the third base side and the Bleachers. Patrons with mobility disabilities and their companions are encouraged to make their purchase in advance as tickets are subject to availability.
Parking for the Disabled: Parking for persons with valid disability license plates or placards is available on a game-by-game basis in Cubs operated parking lots around the ballpark. Patrons that require accessible parking are encouraged to make their purchase in advance by calling (773) 404-4107 as spaces are subject to availability.

as long as you can roll down a few stairs to the field...it's shouldn't be an issue.

good question. hope you have no problems. keep in mind the ADA states all sections should be accessible. but it's a crapshoot, especially with old venues.
