damn.. would LOVE to see a transcript from this :D
  • did he talk about the tiger woods scandal?

i really would love to hear what he has to say about that and the first black president.

Actually my friend asked Dave a question re: Tiger's apology - if Tiger had a intro song to play before his apology, what Dave would recommend. Dave loved the question so much he asked my friend if he was a comedian consultant. He didn't go into anything else about Tiger.

He said because Ohio is a swing state, Obama called him when he was running for pres. Dave siad he asked for help by requesting Dave stay out of the public eye until the election was over (i'm sure that's not true, and am not sure if he really called dave or not). But again, he didn't go into anymore detail

Guess you had to be there. No sound clips from it?

Refreshing isn't it? Actually having to attend a live show to see it instead of watching it through a lens.

I saw him a few years ago. Was hilarious. When I left I found out he did an hour encore. Rookie mistake

I've got a nosebleed ticket to see him in Irvine on September 15th, 2 days earlier I'll be seeing AIC/Jane's Addiction at the same venue! I'd have gotten expensive tickets if Dave's show was Dave only, but I have a feeling his set might be shorter due to all the other acts. I'm just glad I'll get to hear his new material. Dave is my 2nd favorite stand up ever behind Norm MacDonald.

I bet that was awesome. I think Dave Chappelle is hilarious and very witty.

I heard Chris Rock on Stern last week, and he mentioned that Chappelle is starting to tour now...I looked up tickets and I only see things in the South...so his tour philosophy is pretty much the opposite of PJ
  • crazy shit.
    and LONG performance, WHOA.

super bummed I missed his show here in Durham :(
like cosmically bummed. just never heard the show announced, and no tickets were available 2nd hand.

ARE JANES AND AIC TOURING TOGETHER, whomever said they were seeing both?
    ???
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

When did those tickets go on sale? I must have missed it....

Tickets went on sale this past Friday. There are still decent seats left under the pavilion. I got some as soon as they went on sale and got 10th row. (why can't I get that kind of luck with PJ). I'm really looking forward to Flight of the Conchords as well. I was a big fan of their show. Too bad Tenacious D isn't playing with them too. They're a great show as well. Even without the D, it makes for a great day. Pats play at Buffalo at 1PM, then FOTC & Chapplelle at 5.
