    Love the song but feel it doesn't work well midset. Has to open the show or open an encore, which I've had the experience of both :D

    Manchester was great and you're right about it mid set Ian, it has too much build up just to throw in anywhere. The version you saw in Dublin 06 is brilliant and I couldn't believe the negative comments some people had to say about it being used as opener. It works perfectly there and the atmosphere in Dublin when Boom's keys came in during the intro proved that the majority really appreciated it.

    It was a stand out moment for me in Manchester last year too! I nearly started to shake when I heard the opening chords, as it is def in my top 10-it's a beautiful song, both melodically and lyrically. :thumbup:

    Great idea, open the show with Mike and Stone just jamming for a while, then very slowly bring in Boom and Jeff, keep the jam going, and then play the song.

    I love it that the song starts somewhat on a dark tone and then at the middle turns brighter and the lyrics so well are in line with this change of tone.

    I just don't quite understand those who say the lyrics of the song is weak. I think it so well reflects one's inner struggles to cope with difficulties in life as in Mike's case his fight against this health issue.

    This song is a gem of the last decade from this band. Would love to see it live. Hoping for a good, long, flowing song like this on the new album.
