Taper obviously has a good point... And many people have made this point so i don't think he is in the minority on this one
The dc vaul release on vinyl is the kind of product they should be selling more of, not non-stop gimmick crap or made in china clothing0 -

yea but panic sucks and their fans are barefoot, drugged out, hammered hippies
You beat me to that one. Where is Eric Cartman when you need him!"All I Ever Knew" available now in print and digital formats at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iBooks.0 -
I thought the dog collars were cool. If my dogs existing collar didn't have sentimental value I would have bought one for him. I say keep the merch going. Don't we all really secretly want pearl jam whitewall tires or pearl jam oven mitts, or maybe pearl jam fingernail clippers?
Bring it on!"All I Ever Knew" available now in print and digital formats at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iBooks.0 -

on a roll....Hamilton 9-13-05; Toronto 5-9-06, Toronto 8-21-09, Toronto 9-12-11, Hamilton 9-15-11....0 -

Not really, but it is an amazing record.mookeywrench wrote:For a productive rock band the unspoken standard is about a 45 minute LP every other year.
If bands are releasing LPs in the range of 30 minutes, they're usually releasing albums once per year.
I can't really think of an active band that I enjoy that comes out with an album that often.
I think PJ is slowly but surely converting into a nostalgia act and I think the release of the latest vault show is to be able to push the album back yet again.0 -

I think it's more "Vedder is going to be Vedder, and tour without the best band that can currently tour"... Oh how I wish Uncle Neil would pick the boys up for another Mirrorball tour... :corn:0

OP is right. They don't "tour" so much any more, as play one or two shows in the States and expect the fans to "tour" to see them. Wrigley is the ultimate example of this, one gigantic concert everyone wants to go to, tons of people end up without tickets, because it's the first Pearl Jam show played in the United States since 2010, that's not a festival and not 5000 people in Montana, and not PJ20 which was pretty much the same section of the country as Wrigley... etc.
I'm beginning to think the teased "fall tour" is just going to be 8-10 shows or something in all the typical places kinda similar to the 2008 tour... short.ABQ 93, Las Cruces 95, ABQ 98, Bridge School 10/30/99, Lubbock 00, ABQ 00, Denver 03, State College 03, San Diego 03, Vegas 03, PHX 03, D.C. 03, Camden 7/5/03, NYC 7/8/03 + 7/9/03, Vegas 06, San Francisco 7/15/06 + 7/16/06 + 7/18/06, Kansas City 10, [EV:ABQ 11/6/12], Chicago 13, PHX 13, Denver 14--PJ24!, Telluride 16, Chicago 8/20/16, Chicago 8/18/18, Phoenix 22, Denver 22, Vegas 5/16/24

I will not travel to New York again... East Coast shows are just too intense for me, the city itself.. I live in laid back Denver, prefer to stroll into to Red Rocks with a cooler full of food/drinks/bong and chill out...0

I'm in NM so Red Rocks would be a no brainer for me! I'm really hoping that's the kinda shows they will announced, but I'm kind of wondering.ABQ 93, Las Cruces 95, ABQ 98, Bridge School 10/30/99, Lubbock 00, ABQ 00, Denver 03, State College 03, San Diego 03, Vegas 03, PHX 03, D.C. 03, Camden 7/5/03, NYC 7/8/03 + 7/9/03, Vegas 06, San Francisco 7/15/06 + 7/16/06 + 7/18/06, Kansas City 10, [EV:ABQ 11/6/12], Chicago 13, PHX 13, Denver 14--PJ24!, Telluride 16, Chicago 8/20/16, Chicago 8/18/18, Phoenix 22, Denver 22, Vegas 5/16/24

I'd love to see a show at Red Rocks. Ever since the taped U2 show there a millennia ago, I've wanted to experience a live concert there. Maybe they'll stop there this tour - would be very cool. I love CO.2003 Dallas
2013 Wrigley
2013 Dallas
2013 Oklahoma City
2013 Seattle

There's just one word I still believe...and it's LOVE.

I just happened to hear some live Widespread Panic today evening during work-out and it was good.
A lot of wisdom in this forum. Also, earlier, got to hear about Pfish here.
Thank you, man. What's your part, who you are?

yeah, people need to give panic a chance, they get grouped in with the phish sounding jam bands, but they are WAYYYYYYYYY different... so so so good... Counting Train Cars, Climb To Safety, Ain't Life Grand, just a few of my favorites...
Did I miss a $40 pearl jam cup :fp:0 -
