Pre-Party?

What's all this pre-party stuff I keep hearing about? I'm seeing PJ for the first time (FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!) on monday, and I have no idea what's going on.
Speaking as a child of the 90's....I never thought you'd habit.

    these pre=parties are a couple of things.
    1st they are a designated (sort of) place where fans can meet up to hang out, exchange tckets, etc....
    the places for many cities have been picked within days of the shows being announced.
    2cnd they are fundriasers for the CCFA
    there are tons of items for raffle and auction all to raise money and awareness for Crohn's and Colitis
    3rd they are just an out and out good time!

    there is a sticky on the porch forum that has all the info for the whens and wheres for teh cities holding *official* CCFA benefits/pre-parties

    EVERYONE is welcome to attend and no one is obligated to donate
