oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

whats with the reverence for Hunger Strike... its just a good song... nothing more than that... i'd rather have heard Hail Hail, Last Exit or Not For You

everyone on the Pit seems to be going a bit aghast at them playing it... but they've played it before... a few times... its even on the MSG DVD.

Education for the very first time ever.... now thats a WOW moment... and nothing will beat Corduroy in Dublin for me... nothing! :):)

Also we were hoping that the soundchecking would mean it would actually be played in Paris home to a certain Mr Cornell :o

but its just a good song... it doesnt hold a candle to the likes of Light Years, Faithfull or Wishlist.

i wasnt wanting anyone to argue with me... but loads of people have been posting in the Antwerp thread, just saying HUNGER STRIKE OMG!!!!

    i'd be like HAIL HAIL...OMG!!!!!

SOLAT is a SONG!!! its a fucking awesome tune.... i;d go nuts if that came on... Hunger Strike would just make me go from side to side a wee bit in a kinda "i'm standing on a boat" dance... its a good song but its not a great song.. not by PJ standards anyway!

It was funny seeing the 'bandaged hand in hand' bit at the Leeds show... you could see people had their own dance moves and all! I do... I love dancing to that song! :D:D

Thats cos Chris Cornell wrote it! :P

(as far as I'm aware, but if any others wrote it I may well have to retract that statement!)

then that would hold significance.... i understand that... i cant wait to hear the PJ/Wolfmother version though, dont get me wrong... but i'm sorta amazed at the response that one song got!!! considering they havent played in Belgium for varying reasons... i just thought they'd be glad if Ed came out and pumped into the microphone!

Haven't read that thread. Just know I got a little excited when I heard it was sound checked incase they do manage to get Chris up on stage at some point :o
