Not sure. I suspect there's a surprise in store. My hunch is U2 although i've been told that that's unlikely. Who knows? It's a mystery. On the bright side, if there's no support act then PJ will play a long set - 3 hours or more.
  • I really think that were there to be no support,it would have been announced by now. I do believe something is up... Has anyone emailed 10C about this? Hmmm... they probably wouldn't answer it anyway.

well i think that Bono (or knobo) will appear at some stage.....although i pray he doesn't sing cause that would put a dampener on my evening.

but if no support = 3 hour set than fuck My Morning Jacket

Sorry, don't want to read through the entire thread, and maybe it's to early, but have people decided where fans will be meeting up prior to the show?

My wife and I are flying in from the US, and will prob be interested in meeting up with some fellow fans.

We haven't decided which bar we're meeting in yet, but it will be in the Temple Bar area of Dublin. Just keep watching the thread. I'll try and get the name of a bar/pub tomorrow from Helen.

we are meeting at the Temple Bar itself... Helen decreed it in the Dublin Schedules thread or Dublin Names thread or the Dublin my pants are navy blue thread.... i forget which

its a big bar with outside seating
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
