so does this count as the IC title being on the line at WM finally, or does this still mean the last time was Steamboat/Macho at WM3?Gimli 1993

HHH might have to retire either way. Lesnar awful at protecting his opponents and himself.0

I know, I kid, I kid. I was just making light of the absurdity of WWE all but ignoring the IC belt at Wrestlemania for what seems like an eternity. it is rarely defended at WM, and it used to be such a prominent title.Gimli 1993

I thought it was overall decent.
I havent watched in a long while. When I did, I actually was never a huge fan of Wrestlemanias. Main event too often is just the 2 biggest names and a straight up match/celebration of the "sport" which takes place in the middle of the ring for 45 minutes.
Thought the 2 main undercards were entertaining.
But the reason I stopped watching overall, was how it became very repetitive and predictable. Watching this proved that it is still the same.
You just new the Big Show, etc team would lose to put that other team over. You new Fandango was winning v Jericho to put him over, you new Undertaker was winning, and you knew Cena was going to win the title so the Rock can go make his stupid movies. Wasnt sure on HHH. Knew he wasnt going to retire. Just didnt know if he would lose, then keep finding ways to come back like Foley did when he kept 'retiring'0 -
I went. I probably spent way too much on a ticket but nonetheless I enjoyed the show immensely even if some of the matches caused us to chant "We Want Wrestling" and "This is Boring". I haven't watched Wrestling extensively in 10 years or so and probably won't but going to Wrestlemania is one of those experiences that is very cool.Reading 2004

Just curious, how much were the tickets? Since they said there were 80,000 people there.0 -

I went to Wrestlemania 18 in Toronto. It was a pretty cool experience, absolutely. My ticket cost $25! My back was against the wall at the top of the skydome. Very last row. I'm not kidding. I even had to squint to see the big screens!Gimli 1993

Of all the Wrestlemanias, that's the one I would have loved to be at. To be apart of that Rock/Hogan match must have been, to steal a term, electrifying. I can watch the part where Hogan hulks up after the Rock Bottom a million times in a row and never get sick of it.
Here it is. Check out the pop Hulk gets simply when his nWo theme hits, and then again when he walks out, and then again when his name is announced and AGAIN when he rips his shirt. And it all builds to that Hulk-up spot. One of my favorite matches ever. I love how the crowd turns on Rocky. I love JR and especially the King during the match. This match, even more so than more technically sound stuff like Savage/Steamboat or Hart/Austin, is what pro wrestling is all about.
