Awesome!!! I got my resquest played :D It´s OK in spanish...well, more than a request, I was the one who gave Ed the lyrics, inspired by the mexican fans who did it in 2005. I handed Ed the lyrics on monday night, during the Uke buskin in Bs.As. He said ¨ok, that would be a good idea¨....as soon as I saw him grab his guitar during the ending of Daughter, I was like ¨HOLY S´-...¨ ....almost cried for happiness :D:D

Just now saw the setlist and Present Tense was in there...but not player -.- DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN
unbelievable! So happy for you. I can't stop watching the video clips. It must have been amazing to be there!
It's nice to be nice to the nice.

It took me a while to calm down and go to sleep... the setlist was perfect, so fucking amazing!

And the band sounded amazing, as usual... I really hope we can have a bootleg soon! :D
  • Show was amaaaazing, setlist plenty of surprises, the band was so fucking emotional when they heard us sing... Eddie could not stop looking through some binoculars so as not to miss the crowd singing along.
Unbelievable.. They promised to get back here "soon", hopefully they will =)

Can't thank these guys enough for playing "I got shit", a request I personally did in 2011 but was not played at the Buenos Aires concert.

I don't think it will be possible to forget this show... Personally my fave one was so far Rio '11, but last night, holy shit...!! The band was un-fucking-believable!!

I'll treasure all the mud in my boots due to the heavy rain and floods we suffered a day prior to day show... everything was worth it!

PS: At the end of the show someone "lost" his wallet and eddie got his hands into it,he started searching through all the id's playing some jokes around... Hope that guy could get his wallet back by now!!

Another unf*believable night. What to say? It's all said. The best band on the planet and as I said several times here on the threads Pearl Jam in Argentina is a religious, spiritual expeirence.

Just a tiny correction: Given to fly is a request by Oberto, former NBA (Not Humberto :) ). He's very close friend of Jeff.

Thank Mike (I mean God) for Pearl Jam

    Set List

    01. Release
    02. Even Flow (crowd sing guitar riff during guitar solo with Ed conducting them.  After the song is over they continue to sing the riff and then switch to “Olé Pearl Jam”)
    03. Lukin
    04. Corduroy
    05. In Hiding
    06. Save You
    07. Deep
    08. Jeremy (crowd sings along to bass intro and “oh” in outro)
    09. Wishlist (Ed sings “I wish I was as fortunate as Josh Homme”)

(During the instrumental outro Ed and the audience clap a pattern that Ed makes a little more complex as it goes.  He has the audience lights turned on so he can see the audience clapping along.)

    10. Hail Hail

Ed asks the crowd to step back two paces to loosen up space at the front.  After that is accomplished he introduces the next song as a request from Humberto.

    11.  Given To Fly
    12.  I Got ID
    13. Daughter/It’s Ok-{Dead Moon} (Ed sings all of the tag of “It’s Ok” in Spanish) Lyrics and music
    14. Got Some

(Crowd sings something for a couple of minutes after the song is over.  Ed compliments them on their singing.  He starts Betterman and they sing front of the song.  He stops playing and compliments them again and says he never imagined something like this ever happening when he was growing up.  He then picks up the song on the line “Talking to herself”)

    15. Better Man /(improvs some lyrics before going into lyrics for-Save It For Later-(Charley, Cox, Morton, Steele, Wakeling)

(Audience sings “hey ho, let’s go” from Blitzkrieg Bop.  Ed spots a Ramones shirt and asks if he can have it.  He also spots “The Pinhead”.  He says, “This next song is not a Ramones song but Johnny liked it.”)

    16. Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town-(Ad libs line “Thanks to John for taking me”.  A reference to the time Ed came to Buenos Aires when The Ramones were touring there.)

    17. Rearviewmirror

    Encore Break

(Ed talks about all the great bands that played during the festival like “Queens Of The Stone Age.”  “I have to say The Hives were unfucking believable and The Black Keys were great” and “I hope Brazil doesn’t hear about this but your singing has been unbelievable.  Thanks so much.”)

    18. Do The Evolution (crowd sings the guitar riff along with Stone’s playing.  The band extends the part for a couple repeats.  “This is our church YOU are the choir!”)

    19. Animal
    20. Just Breathe

(After the first chorus Ed stops playing and talks about a big storm occurred before the band arrived where some people died and others had their homes destroyed.  He offers his condolences to those who lost friends and family and then continues the song.)

    21. Black
    22. I Believe In Miracles-(Ramones, Ray)  (Ed dedicates the song to the members of the Ramones, naming them individually.  “This also for the guy that made that guitar out of a skateboard” possibly a reference to someone in the audience?)

    23. Alive

(Ed says that didn’t know if they could play this song or not but decided they should.  He  then says something in Spanish and the crowd cheers.  During the song the crowd sings the chorus very loudly and they sing a melody line during the verses between Ed’s lyrics)

    24. Rockin’ In The Free World-(Young)
    25. Yellow Ledbetter

Really epic show. The band was on FIRE!!! Eddie was sounding phenomenal, his voice in great shape. Mike... oh Mike.... Stone rocking out, Jeff with a big smile plastered on his face... Matt insane as usual... awesome.

We all love Release, so even if it was a repeat from last year, the crowd (we) loved it.
Even Flow as the second song in threw me off, but it was perfect and we all went wild.
The audience was phenomenal, I sang and jumped throughought the show, enjoying every minute.
They played In Hiding!!!!!!!!!!!! We can sing melody in that song too, it turns out. We can sing the molody or riffs to any song, even Just Breathe
Eddie must be out of money, he is asking fans for t-shirts (Ramones)
Wishlist, one of my favorite songs. :D
Deep, we loved that one too.
Coming back with DTE followed by Animal in the encore: brilliant.
Black was beautiful, as always. Some great outro singing by Ed, and great solo by Mike. Did I mention Mike was on fire?
Sad they scratched Present Tense, would have LOVED to hear that one.
We got Rockin in the free world again, but I love that song, so all is good. Mike and Jeff switched instruments at some point, but I only realized towards the end. Oh and Ed has no money for t-shirts because he is giving away so many tambourines... at least 6, maybe even 8?
Yellow Ledbetter, this is how we say goodbye (dont say goodbye)
    I´m hyper, I´m beat, I´m happy.
    Hope to see you soon!
I am just a dreamer, but you are just a dream...
If I knew where it was I would take you there.

    10. Hail Hail
"Ed asks the crowd to step back two paces to loosen up space at the front. After that is accomplished he introduces the next song as a request from Humberto."

The request was from Fabricio OBERTO, the former NBA player from Argentina whose shirt was wearing Jeff at the end of the show.

The setlist was incredible, I love In hiding and I got ID. I will never forget last night.

    THANK YOU PJ
