    last evening... long before sunset...
    a bat circled slowly and lowly around the hot tub where we relaxed.
    Enough to worry me that perhaps it was not well.

    Because I never see them in the daylight I didn't know their wings
    are transparently thin, a pink blush to them.
    It began to sprinkle then a heavy steady rain for some hours.
    We concluded the little guy expected rain ( had his radar on ;) )
    and needed some dinner before it moved in.
