I had them pretty hardcore late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. I drank water, held my breath, turned my body upside down ... nothing seemed to work.

Does anyone here have any foolproof plan to get rid of hiccups?

    Throw yourself down a flight of stairs. It is so jarring and painful you forget all about your hiccups.
