That's funny - isn't it amazing that animals and kids are so much more in tune with the natural order of things; and somewhere along the line, we've lost that.
My best friend is from California and to her an earthquake is no big deal. But I'm a Kansas girl and the thought of earthquakes kind of creep me out. She feels the same way about tornadoes;which of course, I am kind of fascinated with. She never forgiven me for taking her to see Twister. And the whole time I was thinking "F5 - Wow what an awesome force of nature."
And the sun it may be shining . . . but there's an ocean in my eyes0 -

Steaming hot pie, steaming hot dog turds, warm toilet seats, bananas, and a girl with a gun in her cootchie...The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
