    If you are the last person to post in the thread, you are able to delete the post with an edit then clicking the x button. But if your post is posted a few pages or posts in the thread, you won't be able to delete the post. You can edit it though, but that's about it.

    What Demetrios said... However.. Once you get to the edit screen, just erase
    what you wrote.
