Would you pay $20 for outfield seats at Wrigley?

Bleachers would be no different than some of the rooftops that will be used. Party.0

I'd pay $20 in a heartbeat. I think it would be fun to watch Matt and the huge crowd in front of you. There have been many shows at Wrigley in the last 6 years. Has any had the bleachers open? There is no way this will happen. For the rest of the stadium, the bleachers are left pitch black during shows. They would need to light up the bleachers for security and safety reasons and the only way to do so is with the stadium lights.
I could see Ed heading up to the bleachers to sing "All the Way" however.
Several years ago, Buffett played Wrigley and did the same when he played "City of New Orleans" as a tribute to his friend and writer of that song, Steve Goodman (who also penned "Go Cubs Go" before his passing in '84).Soldier Field - 7.11.95

Bleacher capacity at Wrigley is 5200. If those seats were sold, there would be at least 5100 people wandering the concourse, trying to see the show. God knows how many of those 5100 would try to sneak closer.
It would be a nightmare.0 -

During Cubs games there is no access to the main concourse from bleachers unless you are heading to the first aid station behind 1B. Even then you will be lead there and back.Chicago 6/29/98, Alpine Valley (EV) 6/13/99, Alpine Valley 10/08/00, Chicago 10/09/00, Phoenix 10/20/00, Orlando 4/12/03, Tampa 4/13/03, San Diego 6/05/03, Vegas 6/06/03, Phoenix 6/07/03, Chicago 6/18/03, Alpine Valley 6/21/03, Orlando 10/08/04, D.C. 10/11/04, Chicago 5/16/06, Chicago 5/17/06, LA 7/12/08, Chicago 8/23/09, Chicago 8/24/09, LA 10/07/09, San Diego 10/09/09 (Front Row Center, Finally), Phoenix (EV) 11/4/11, Wrigley 7/19/13, Phoenix 11/19/13, Denver 10/22/14, Wrigley 8/20/16, Wrigley 8/22/16, Tempe (EV) 3/3/19, Phoenix 5/9/22, Tempe (EV) 2/26/230 -

other way around. you can only get into the bleacher section if you have a bleacher ticket. bleacher bums can roam the main concourse.81 is now off the air

Not really. People will scoot over and more than likely, their neighbors won't complain. Unless the pole ticket holder is being obnoxious.0 -
