You know what would be fucking awesome? If Pearl Jam plays a show at the Metro and only people who lost out in the lotteries got to go. Then, the 10/VHC and the lottery would be the best thing since the invention of the knife so we can slice bread.

Maybe even since the invention of the wheel! I didn't expect to win and know there are only so many tickets to go around in the 10C presale.

I agree with you cometotexas but at least for me and I'm sure a few others, the frustration isn't coming solely from not getting tickets, it's coming from not getting anything at all for the $40 I spent on a membership this year (re-upped for the 19th time in october). so far I've been rejected for every show I've applied for, no fan club t-shirt (wasn't that supposed to be part of the deal?), no holiday single (which by the time it does come out I'll probably need to renew again), and no deep magazine, (see holiday single). If they are going to up the price of a membership, you'd think members would get something more. Instead, each year we get less. I understand that there won't be a full tour every year, but in those instances, the membership fees need to at least get you something more than a late arriving 7 inch. I'll (perhaps foolishly) continue to pay my dues every year, but the fact that by the time they announce the supposed fall tour (which I will believe when it's booked), I will likely have spent $40 on nothing more than access to the forums (which don't even work properly) and the opportunity to spend even more $$$ on merch in the store. That's the frustrating part. That being said, all of you going to wrigley, I hope you have a blast. May still see you there but I doubt it. Ten club, you need to reconsider the membership cost if you're not gonna provide much in return.

Speaking in Wrigley terms...I was 0-9 at the plate so far in my 10C lottery career going into today's game, but against all odds, I somehow managed to bloop a single in between 3 defenders when it counted....Better to be lucky than good they say, right? I am now batting a modest .100 at the plate, but today, I feel like an all star

For the movie buffs '....I'm just happy to be here & hope I can help the ballclub, give it my best shot, and good Lord willing, things'll work out....Gotta take em one game at a time, though.....I'd also like to thank my fellow 10C members & the 10C for giving me the opportunity to play the game today. Without all of you, none of this would've been possible'

All cliches & movie quotes aside, my sincere regrets to those still looking & promise I will post any extras here should any come available to me. Who knows, I'm never lucky on things like this, so maybe I will be for somebody else too this time...

I checked my email like 500 times today and then had to go to an awards dinner. While one of the speakers was up front I checked and BAM! I got tickets! I almost yelled out loud during the presentation! The show is on my 10th wedding anniversary! Can't Wait!

Agreed...we need some hope. who thinks this new system takes into account how many times you've not gotten tix? Could it be possible to never be chosen again through 10c because of bad luck? I guess that is how random it is now...but optimistically, everyone should get a tix for a show at some point, right? One can only hope...

Not to be negative & probably a bit rusty on my H.S. statistics class so feel free to correct me, but I think that it is absolutely possible to never get picked.....Similar to it being statistically possible to flip a coin 50 times and never get tails.

well if msg 2003 in ny city had 9 or 10k members each night, why is 10c allowed so little tickets now than they used to get? is it some new ticketmaster rule that says ticketmaster doesnt want to gie out that many 10c tickets? but the thing is london ontario show is not a ticketmaster venue, and chicago one was tickets.com are they owned by ticketmaster? if not then is it only a ticketmaster thing, what if pj just doesnt play ticketmaster venues, then can they get more 10c seats like they used to?

if there was so few 10c tickets for the 2 shows chicago and london, they should of done it by member numbers and not by lotto, lotto is hard. it should of been first come first serve who join 10c first then, i dont even know if i would of got a ticket this way i joined in 99, but it would of been more fair than the lotto. why should someone who been a member since 93 get shut out while someone who just joined last year get tickets that not very fair especialy if that person lives in illinois. i know illinois has some members with real low numbers did they get shut out?
