Would you pay $20 for outfield seats at Wrigley?

I just had an idea (don't know if it's even possible) that PJ should sell the outfield sections at Wrigley for $20 a piece to 10C members. If you look at the map, it's the section 300's.

You probably wouldn't see crap, but you would be in the door.

Just wondering if there would even be a market for an idea like this.

The way I look at it, I would rather pay $20 and know I won't be able to see crap than those people that are going to spend 60+ and get to the stadium to find themselves behind a pole or can't see because of the upper deck.

If there is a market for it, why not open those 10C members that were shutout of the first two lotteries and make the place one big party?

I have been shutout on all three drawings for the Chicago and Ontario shows. What's the seniority level of these people that are getting chosen. I have been a Ten Club member for close to 20 years. How is it that I can not get any tickets. Then I go online and see tickets for both shows that are being scalped for anywhere between $250 to $2500 a ticket. According to the ticket rules these Ten Club members will lose their membership. Yea right like that's really going to happen. This is a load of HORSESHIT!!!

I'd pay $80 just to get in the gate and walk around aimlessly. I don't need a seat or to be right in front of the stage. I just want to be part of the atmoshpere and here the show.

You would have no view of the band.
The sound would probably suck monkey balls.
    But what the hell.
If an additional 3000 people could get in the venue, and have fun.
    Why not?

At the risk of stirring this pot again... Seniority has nothing to do with getting tickets. It is only used for seat selection if you get tickets. You didn't get tickets because your name was not drawn from the hat. It sucks that so many people didnt get 10club seats but the demand is through the roof.

Umm thats because the 10c only gets a fraction of the tickets. The 10c doesn't have some kind of unlimited power to demand all the tickets in a venue. Many of them are sold through a venues ticketing agency outside the 10c.

You didn't really think the 10c had sole dibs on tickets did you?

Yep. Seniority has nothing to do with it. It's amazing how many people don't get it and think they should be entitled to tickets because they've been in the 10c for so long. It's a fucking lottery!!!!

It would be an out and out free for all. Not that the entire place isn't going to be, and exactly why they are not selling the bleachers, one would assume.

At this point, the bleachers would EASILY go for $100 a seat, behind the stage or not, and would sell out immediately.
