Priority Selection

Would you be okay if 10c did this for priority?

As a Warehouse member you will be able to select one show per tour for which you may be chosen to receive priority treatment during the random selection process. This does not apply to seating assignments; it only applies to the random drawing for tickets. There is no guarantee that your priority selection request will be confirmed, however seniority (every single year of continuous membership) will increase your opportunity to receive priority treatment. NOTE: You may still request (and potentially be confirmed) for as many Summer Tour events as you like but only one can be chosen as your 'priority' show for the selection process.

That's pretty much the way is now?

When they pull names out for a show they pull out the people that ranked it #1 first. It's there priority show. I suppose the Chicago show confuses it because they felt the need to do separate lotteries for different sections (which I don't think will be the norm and was only done because of the size of the event).

The only difference between the current lottery and your version is giving weight to seniority in the draw process. I'm pretty much against that because turnover in the fan club is very low.

I'm pretty sure the turnover rate in memberships (especially amongst the more senior members) ground to a near halt when it was announced seats would be based on seniority. It generally means new members to the club don't really build up seniority. They're always at the back of the line. It's bad enough they won't ever see improved seats. It's even worse to keep them from getting access to tickets. I'm not even talking recent signups. I think the old seat/seniority tracking website had my '98 membership being about 1/3 into the 10c seats. Someone with a 2000 signup just past 2/3rds. Which means anyone who signed up after 2000 is probably relegated to being at the back. If you also based tickets on seniority you'd be alienating alot of people, people who have been in the 10c for a while.

Yea this makes no sense. I see where you are going, but if there is "no guarantee that your priority selection request will be confirmed" isnt that the same as there being no guarantee that you will get tickets in the drawing? Keep trying all eventually we will figure out was 10C couldnt....the Perfect ticket system!!!
