They said you'd agree, but that you'd be the most likely to buy rounds of drinks after Wrigley.2003 Dallas

He atleast gives out free cigarettes.... right? :crazy:Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.0 -
I've put posters in my sleeves and pant legs. I carry a jacket and use it as a kangaroo pouch.
My merch is kept on me! Screw going back to a hotel. If the venue says I can't have a purse? I say I have a medical condition and I need my bag. This works 10 out of 10 times. Even if I say I need the bag for my inhaler...
or I have really bad migraines and I need this advil.

Some ask "How did you get a purse in here?"
I say "shut your mouth".

Wrigley will be my first PJ show, so I know nothing about obtaining merch (when do gates open, etc.). UPS and Fedex both have stores 1/2 mile from Wrigley, and both stores are open until 7PM on Fridays. Any experienced fans know if it sounds feasible to get there early, get my stuff, and make it to UPS/Fedex, then back to Wrigley on time?0

I haven't been to wrigley.. But does anyone know if it would be possible to send my wife in to buy merch while I remain outside of the stadium (drinking) and then have her pass the merch through the fence so i can go stash it?
I dreamt this.. amongst other things I wont share right now..None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe that they are free.

WTF?
You are going to Pearl Jam????!!!
How does a post office matter? Buy all your merch First thing....
Then find a comfortable spot. If they let you go to the post office after you buy merch... I hate to be mean but I would be glad if they didn't let you back in.

Yeah, I am going to see Pearl Jam. I heard The Fixer on a Sportscenter montage, and I have been hooked ever since. Heard they were good live, so figured I would check them out.
Take it easy staysea, I've been a fan for 20+ years, just because I have not been fortunate enough to see a PJ show before doesn't mean I like the band less than you do and don't deserve to go. The reason I posted is because I have no idea how the merch setup works at shows, didn't know if they might have a tent setup outside the venue, or if I would be able to pass merch to a friend outside Wrigley, etc. The UPS/Fedex locations matter because they mail things for you, which means I don't have to carry my shit around all night, or fly back with it. Sounds like that is not an option, no big deal. And relax with the multiple exclamation points, and questions marks, that shit is ridiculous.0 -
This info is helpful, just to set expectations for us out-of-towners who are fans, but not frequent concert-goers, and have decided that Pearl Jam is worth it to travel. Thanks all for helping out! I'll def be meeting some of y'all at the pre/post parties. Be sound!2003 Dallas

I'm hoping the merch stands will be outside the stadium, then I'll be able to hop back on the red line to drop my stuff off at home before coming back for the show.1998: East Troy 2000: East Troy, Rosemont 2003: Champaign 2006: Chicago (UC), Milwaukee 2007: Chicago (Lolla) 2009: Chicago (UC), Chicago (UC) 2010: Noblesville 2011: East Troy (PJ20), East Troy (PJ20) 2013: Chicago (WF), Seattle 2014: St. Louis 2016: Chicago (WF), Chicago (WF) 2018: Chicago (WF), Chicago (WF) 2022: St. Louis 2023: Chicago (UC), Chicago (UC) 2024: Chicago (WF), Chicago (WF)2025: Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh0

not really much space inside the venue for that, unless it's right by the main entrance.81 is now off the air

Ask 10c for a pre-show poster sale. That was badass when they did that. I got my LA 3 poster a week later - even though I managed NOT to make it to the show!
