He can play his ass off, but most off of it seems cold and emotionless to me. Plays the wrong kinda music for such precision imo.0

Joe is great. Saw him like 12x between 2005- 2009.
Hadn't seen him in awhile, but still get his albums.
I have met him a few times before and after shows. Real nice guy.PJ: 10/14/00 06/09/03 10/4/09 11/15/13 11/16/13 10/08/14

He and Beth Hart got together and made an album called Don't Explain. It's covers of old soul songs and it's really, really great.
Here they are live performing I'll Take Care of You: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bw1r0IbGaQPitt 98, Pitt 00, Cleveland 03, Pitt 03, State College 03, Toledo 04, Toronto 05, Pitt 05, Cleveland 06, Pitt 06 & Chicago 07, Chicago 1&2 09, Philly 2,3,4 09, Cleveland 10, Columbus 10, Alpine Valley 1& 2 110 -

Saw him last night in Detroit. Spectacular performance!
He's a "must see live to fully appreciate" kind of artist.
Absolutely blown away by him and everyone in his band. Will definitely get tickets when he comes around again. If hope can grow from dirt like me, it can be done. - EV0 -
I dig Joe. Thanks for the reminder to listen to him again!0

Are any of the bands he is in just him on guitar? His singing is ok, but Id rather hear play and let an A plus vocalist sing0
