    yea, i was there at the only show in texas in 10 years... fun times, fast cars.... would love to go again... (well I will as my ACL tickets are already bought...)

    It's a traditional Newfoundland song (well, only about 25-30 years old-ish).... it's become a creedo that i've heard a fair bit when I'm back there lately...

    Covered by any number of bands, but the lyrics are usually the same.... The song is called "The Islander"...

    So... real question here -

    I've seen a couple of people around here throw out Voodoo fest as the possible end to the PJ tour in New Orleans....

    If this happens: (a) does anyone want to carpool from H-town or (b) who would like to have a gumball rally from Houston to that crooked-french-based-gambler's den known as Louisiana on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning? (assuming PJ does the headlining Sat night slot)...
