I gotta give it to Push Me, Pull Me

They nail it now, especially the chorus. What used to be an awkward show-stopper has turned into a fun little rocker the crowd gets in to.

You can tell EV has really tried to re-work his delivery and bring in some live energy.

Push Me, Pull Me was the song that sprung to mind when I saw the thread title and the Berlin version was incredible. They played a blinding version during the soundcheck too. I always found it to be a little bit of a filler track in the album but it has really come to life in the last few years.
Like a book among the many on a shelf...

    Dublin 02 Arena - 22/6/10. Belfast Odyssey Arena - 23/6/10. London Hyde Park - 25/6/10. Berlin Wuhlheide - 30/6/10.

Played rarely these days, Eddie usually has a reason to play it when they do, and I think therefore there is more passion behind the performance of the song than during the Binaural tour.

the sample size for push me pull me is still pretty small- plus there's a 10 year break between performances- and therefore i can't really justify giving it a "most improved" title when it hasn't been played all that often.

i would throw 1/2 full into the hat. it seems that over time that one has just gotten better, with a lot more energy behind it, and now people actually look forward to seeing it in the sets instead of passing it off as a red mosquito wannabe.

Judging by those two versions I wholeheartedly disagree. The 2011 version is too fast and that really takes away alot of the emotion put into the song. I've heard 2000 and 03 versions that are vastly superior to either of these, but I'd still take that 2000 version every time before I'd ask for a recent rendition.

it's definatelty a fun, poppy reimagination of the more serious orginal version.

Maybe this is just a killer version, but the crowd really nailed it with this version of Do The Evolution this past year in Prague.

I'm really digging the way present tense is sounding now from when I first heard it live.
