I've uses Switch sound file converter and flac frontend.
I liked both about the same for their function, but sometimes when using flac front end converted files would just disappear, never to be found.0 -

Not a converter at all,
but i just found out about (and started using) Songbird,
which is a really cool open-development alternative to iTunes.
It is about 1\4 the file size of iTunes, seems to require about 1\4 of the resources to run,
is at least as equally elegant, has more options, PLAYS FLAC FILES, and is open for plugins, just like WinAmp ... but unlike WinAmp hasn't started to royally suck in recent years (and apparently is now owned by AOL?) [which are both reasons i stopped using it]
So anyway. Just another idea, if you DON'T *NEED* to convert your flac files.
i think i was using a program called dbpoweramp to convert my flacs to mp3 when\if i needed to (ipod) [but you know there are better "mp3" players out there now that WILL play flac??? Check out Cowon's players! If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?0
