I'm sorry. I dunno... It's a white rhino and not a human being. Jesus tapdancing christ
It is a human being who is being compromised. It is offensive to those with a genetic disease.
Just change the name of the beer for Christ's sake, too much to ask?

Say Eddie Vedder dosen't like the fact that when people see you post that they may think his user name is pandora because you use his likeness. And want you and a couple of hundred to change. Wouldn't that be the same thing?

Oh my, my avatar is "albino oscars".

You mean Eddie will think people think he is posting under a couple hundred screen names :?
do you have a better analogy perhaps? To me that one seems silly and weak, maybe just me....
    and maybe not.

    How?

It is a term describing a genetic disorder of an animal not a person.

It isn't a disease either, it is a disorder, genetic mutation, or a trait ...you pick...but it is not a disease.

Thanks fixed I did know that...
People with the disorder are being offended, I find that enough reason, it was for Earl's too...
    thank goodness.

yes, it actually is too much to ask. it's bloody ridiculous. I'm all for understanding and respect, but NO ONE is being made fun of here. it's a rhino, a mascot, not a person. it's this sort of bullshit that is turning our youth into whiney little bitches thinking they are entitled to everything and if their feelings are hurt they should turn that into a court case.

if anything, this guy is bringing negative attention to himself and his condition and is doing more harm than good to his group, which is so minutely small because the condition is so rare it makes it all the more stupid.

I'm about as sensitive as they come, but this is just too much.

I actually found that I already own two Albino Rhino beer glasses in my bar. I'm going to be drinking my beer from those from now on.

I would rather teach our children to respect other people's feelings.
To be sensitive most especially when these people have said they find it offensive.
Cheers to those who care about not making others feel uncomfortable in their own skin.

    Within reason.

Cheers to those who have it, and use it.

My friends and I were at the bar the other day and he was commenting on how when he was up north he hit some "black" ice and skidded off the road. Well the table beside us happen to be black and asked if he was to continue with the story if he could use "coloured" ice instead. We laughed and said, no.

I won't alert the mods but please do not respond to my opinion by calling it nonsense
that would result in you locking your own thread. Opinions are not personal but your response is.

I didn't say your opinion was nonsense. your baiting is. you are the thread killer, and we're all getting really tired of it. if you can't stop making everything about you then just leave.
