    Flyers are best off waiting for Ryan to hit FA after next year. Odds are that he will want to play here. He's made it known that he would love to play closer to home with the Flyers.

    I believe he has 2 years on his contract after this, so he will be a FA in the Summer of 2015

    two things i know about hockey. 30 goals a season is nothing to sneeze at (see stats of sniper bobby ryan vs. jeff carter, almost identical over the 3 years despite opinions to the contrary) and the franchise has not achieved close to what they had since the trades of carter and richards (stanley cup finals appearance then 2nd in the conference the following year).

    both of those things are facts not opinions. reality vs. myth.

    Lets see how tonight goes against the Pens. another road game for us but hope we didn't waste all of our goals on the last game.

    my 2nd game that I can watch on TV in Toronto.

    I do miss center Ice but have to stick to my word of not getting it this season.

    I used to hate Flyers fans and all things Philly in general until I went to a Pens/Flyers game there 3 years ago and won the Tasty Cake giveaway. All the booing that ensued when they showed me and my pens shirt on the jumbotron disappeared when they handed me that garbage bag full of Tasty Cake boxes. Suddenly the Flyers fans around us became a lot more friendly too.
