I just ordered the Atlanta poster. I can't really put my finger on it but I fucking love it for some reason.

Anyway, I have a question about it. Anyone know what the words scrawled in the background say? Also, there is probably nothing thematically relevant about the elements in the print other than Georgia peaches but is there something to the robot and questionably evil tree that I'm not getting?

I have the poster from the show and haven't been able to make out any of the background wording. It kind of has a weird Wizard of Oz vibe to it, though....tin man, evil tree, peaches instead of apples?

Here's the message I just received from Nate about it.

    ..

The writing in the background was a late addition. I was working with the other artist on it, Munk One, and he suggested putting some type together for the background so I started scribbling away. It's not really intended to be read but it DOES say something. I made up a back story about the robot more or less saying that he'd pick peaches until there were none left. It rambles on about his dedication to his "job" as it were.

When Munk One and I set out to start drawing the poster he suggested I draw a robot so we started rolling in that direction and he did the tree and so on after I did the bot. Not sure if the robot is intended to be sinister or anything like that. You'd have to ask him.

Hope that helps clear the air a bit.

    Cheers,
    Nate
