Hoping someone who has seen a concert at Wrigley before can help me. I have a ticket in section 242, basically all the way down the right field line. Will there be any issues seeing the stage from this section?

I saw The Police there a few years back. My seats were in that general area, just not quite that far down the line.

The view was hardly spectacular, but you should be OK. one good thing is that there are no support columns in 242 so you won't be stuck behind one.

  • Thanks for the help. I'm just hoping I can see the musicians and not stuck with a view where the side of stage set up, like amps, speakers and screens block the band.

The field area is beautiful though. Underbelly, yep dump. Have they done any reconstruction in the last 8 years? When I was there last they had nets catching the falling concrete.
Forced to endure, what I cannot forgive.

    The netting is still there.

The bleachers used to be total crap (not necessarily in a bad way), but the recent renovations have made them into pretty much the nicest part of the ballpark nowadays. (but will anyone be allowed in that area for the PJ show? probably not.)

I was wondering when the "Wrigley is a dump" comments would start. Thankfully, there are only 5 more months until the show.
